A quick review *and* new books!

November was rough. For many reasons. But I made it through and it's on to bigger and better things!! I posted some fun freebies, though! Make sure you check them out!

Two new interactive books (one for counting, one for colors) are up in my store and are on sale for the first 48 hours!! AND then #DecSLPMustHave sale is almost here! So excited.

I'm liking the new design I'm using with the books... Trimming everything gets old for me, and binding other has cut off some words... I'm hoping that this new technique will help with that!

I recently got a new printer for home (the same model as my office printer, HP OfficeJet Pro 6830) and am enrolled in Instant Ink with both. Love it!!

December is looking much more productive already, even though it started with a head cold virus that kept me home and unproductive for 2 days. Two more weeks of school. I can do this!!!

Am loving the support I'm getting on IG and TpT!! Love being part of this amazing community!

Brrr!!

We have had storms and cold fronts and chaos!! I'm finally able to post some projects that I've had sitting around for awhile. Gingerbread Girl Irregular Past Tense Flash Cards (Find it here) is a HUGE product with over 75 target words!!

I love these cards and how many words you can target. I'm a fan of not having to trim anything (Time saver!!) and the fold, cut, glue, laminate project doesn't take that long! I also love that they are self-correcting, which means my students can quiz each other, themselves, or me.

I also added a B&W printable that is winter themed for regular past tense verbs. I have students who ask for homework that they can make, so I made these to quickly print and send home with them! Great to practice regular past tense verbs and to make sentences. It has a word list/answer key with room to take data. :)

The cold-snap that has hit recently has been very inspiring!! I'm probably going to have a few more seasonal projects up soon!! I'm cuddled in front of the heater with a cozy blanket and my laptop. Perfect weekend activity for me!!

An introduction to The Scattered SLP

Hello! I'm Sarah. I'm an SLP in a low-income elementary school in Northwest Washington. I am scattered. :) I love using cute materials, but am apparently picky. And short on time. I've been using materials from other awesome SLPs (Thank you, Teachers Pay Teachers!!), and I've started making my own materials. Suddenly, while making some irregular past tense flash cards with gingerbread girls on the front, I had the name "The Scattered SLP" pop into my head. It fits me well!! My conversations are often scattered, my material needs are scattered, and my office is DEFINITELY scattered!!! I have a caseload of slightly more than 50 students, with widely varying needs. I want quick and durable materials. :) And I use my own printer and ink when I want things in color. 

All of that being said, I am still learning how to make materials that follow all of the Copyright laws and am working on adding fun graphics. I love to do themes and am working on a Gingerbread Theme for the next couple of weeks as we approach Christmas.
